Ambassador calls on Chairman of Turkey - Sri Lanka Inter Parliamentary Friendship Group

Ambassador Mohamed Rizvi Hassen met with Hon. Ahmet Hamdi Camli, Chairman of Turkey - Sri Lanka Inter Parliamentary Friendship Group at his office on Turkish Grand National Assembly yesterday (28.07.2020) and thanked the Government of Turkey for its support and solidarity extended to Sri Lanka during the pandemic situation.

Ambassador and the Chairman of Turkey - Sri Lanka Inter Parliamentary Friendship Group  exchanged views on strengthen co-operation between the two parliaments.  Ambassador also discussed matters pertaining to trade and investment between the two countries, particularly measures implemented subsequent to the Covid - 19 pandemic situation.

Ms. Yoshitha Jayasuriya, Counsellor (Commercial) accompanied the Ambassador for the meeting.
