During a fruitful virtual discussion between Bursa Uludag University of Turkey and Rajarata University of Sri Lanka which was organized by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Ankara on 11th May 2022, both Universities agreed to establish cooperation between the universities in order to engage in joint researches, organize symposiums, academic exchange and student exchanges.
Speaking at the occasion, Dr. S.M.C.B. Karalliyadda, the Coordinator of the International Relations of the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka provided a detailed briefing on the history of the Rajarata University and briefed about the collaboration areas that Bursa Uludag University of Turkey and Rajarata University of Sri Lanka can work on.
Prof. Dr. Bulent Senay, Rector’s Coordinator for International Academic Relations of the Bursa Uludag University of Turkey shared information about the academic programmes about the University and expressed the university’s willingness to establish contact with the Rajarata University, student and academic exchanges, organizing joint symposiums and engage in joint research work.
During the opening remarks, both sides highlighted the importance of establishing contacts between Bursa Uludag University of Turkey and Rajarata University of Sri Lanka since the relations between universities lighten up the next generations for the future.
