Second phase of the “Enchanting Isle”, a photographic exhibition illustrating a glimpse of Sri Lanka in different aspects was held at the Sebnem Bahar Art & Design Gallery, Murat Pasa, Antalya, Turkey from 01st to 03rd November 2017.

This exhibition was organised as a platform to showcase the culture, nature, adventure, day to day facets of Sri Lanka. At the inaugural ceremony held on the 01st November, the event started with lighting of the traditional oil lamp where   Consul Generals/ Consuls based in Antalya also took part. Welcoming the guests which represented diplomatic, political, business communities based in Antalya as well as academics, journalists and Sri Lankan expats; the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Turkey, P.M. Amza,  explained of the diverse touristic resources Sri Lanka has which cater to different preferences of different individuals. Many visitors to the gallery were amazed by the rich diversity of a tiny island and its beauty. Many expressed their appreciation for introducing Sri Lanka, an unknown destination before, as a tourist destination with ample possibilities.

Adding more colour to the event, Ceylon tea was offered to the guests by the servers dressed in traditional Sri Lankan attire.

The exhibition was organized by the Sri Lanka Embassy under the patronage of Mr. Ozan Oz , Oz Hotels of Antalya.
