Sri Lanka Country Day Held in Erzurum

The Sri Lanka Honorary Consulate for Eastern Anatolia of Turkey under the guidance of the Sri Lanka Embassy in Ankara organized a Sri Lanka Promotion Day at Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry(ETSO). This included a Sri Lanka Photographic Exhibition and Trade Promotion Seminar. The Photographic Exhibition was declared opened jointly by HE Seyfettin Azizoglu, the Governor of Erzurum, HE P. M . Amza Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Turkey and Mr. Mehmet Sekmen Mayor of Erzurum. The Seminar was chaired by Mr. Lutfu Yucelik, President of ETSO. Hon.Consul of Sri Lanka Mr. Fathi Yucelik made the introductory speech at the seminar while Ambasssador Amza delivered keynote address. The Governor and the Mayor who spoke at the seminar encouraged the participants to foster greater business relations with SL.As an outcome of the seminar a business delegation is scheduled to visit SL early next year.
