Ambassador M. Rizvi Hassen during a courtesy call on assen H.E. Dr. Bekir Pakdemirli, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Turkey discussed ways and means to enhance Agricultural cooperation between the two countries yesterday (01.10.2020) in Ankara.

Both the Minister and the Ambassador also exchanged views on agricultural export potentials of the two countries, to establish mechanism to share technological knowhow and joint research on the agricultural sector. Minister Dr. Bekir Pakdemirli highlighted the importance of early signing of the MoU on Agricultural Cooperation.

Ms. Yoshitha Jayasuriya, Counsellor (Commercial), Ms. Aylin Caglayan Ozcan, Director General, Directorate General for European Union and Foreign Relations of Ministry of Agriculture & Forestry and Ms. Gozde Sender, Expert, Directorate General for European Union and Foreign Relations of Ministry of Agriculture & Forestry also participated at the meeting.
